Petland Cemetery was founded to provide a reverent and humane option for pets of all kinds.
In 1973 Dr. Glenn Hilliard a WSU veterinary medicine graduate and two other individuals who saw this need in their local community. Petland has grown over the years accommodating the needs of not only our local community, but the entire state of Washington and northern Oregon for Pet Cremations, traditional pet burials and customized Urns to help remember and honor our beloved animals.
Petland Cemetery is still a small family owned business based in Aberdeen Washington with the same driving principles to honorably and safely help our animal friends with the last step on their path.

It’s very difficult to say
What all you’ve done for me,
All the places we would go
The things that we did see.
The joys we shared,
The tears we shed,
The lives we touched,
The lives we led.
Though others try to fill the space
Your leaving me has made,
There’s none can ever take your place
The way you walked, you played.
Dear Lord I pray your soul to keep
To guard you ever more,
To keep you safe in loving arms
And watch you at the door
Of heaven’s gate and fields of gold
Where pets of everyone
Will go to be when they grow old
And walk in warm bright sun.
To chase the ball or bat the string
In endless days so free
And share the joy that you did bring,
Dear Lord I pray to thee.
